Retrospective Rating (Retro) is an optional financial incentive program offered by the Department of Labor and Industries to help qualifying employers reduce their industrial insurance costs. Employers can enroll on their own, or in group plans sponsored by trade associations and/or professional organizations.
At ERNwest we represent 7 Associations which encompass over 4000 employers. Our experience has allowed us to deliver consistent refunds, efficiently manage your claims, and help keep your workplace safe.
We represent most industries. Please use our contact page to learn more about how we can help your company earn refunds, be safe, and have effective claims management.
How Does Retrospective Rating (Retro) Work?
There are two ways to participate in Retro: Group Programs and Individual Programs, all under the umbrella of “Retro.” We manage 7 Group Programs and 10 Individual Programs. Individual Retro is a great option for larger companies or companies that don’t fit into a Group Program.
Group Retro is where an employer joins a trade association of like risk class that sponsors a group. For example, a grocery store would not be able to fit into a healthcare group.
