Cold weather is just around the corner, and it’s time to prepare workers and workplaces for what looks to be a cold, wet winter. For many, working outdoors in winter can bring new and dangerous scenarios, but education and awareness will help prevent winter weather from causing preventable incidents and injuries to employees. 

The National Weather Service identifies November as a month for Washingtonians to begin preparing for the coldest time of the year.
