ERNWest offers many types of training courses for employers in Washington State who are interested in learning more about workers compensation, safety and claims management:
Webinar Training Opportunities (Click Here): ERNWest will be offering various 'Web-based' workers' compensation training opportunities in the months of August and October. The goal of these 'Webinars' is to offer employers generalized training on the most vital components of the Washington State workers' compensation system.
Quarterly Safety Workshops: every January, April, July and October ERNWest conducts free risk management workshops in nine locations throughout the State of Washington. The workshops are two hours in length and cover claim management, safety and general management topics. Topics include: Accident Investigations, Safety Committees, Basic Claims Management, Hiring Practices etc.
Workers' Comp Boot Camp: offered twice a year in five locations throughout the State of Washington, this training is designed to educate employers on:
- How to better understand your rates and lower your workers' comp premiums.
- The Specifics of Retrospective Rating: How you can get money back from the state.
- About major changes to vocational rehabilitation services.
- Claims management and what you can do to positively affect your claims.
- Tools for dealing with Injured Workers.
- Proven strategies to shut down time loss.
